I started riding in the summer of 2003. I was bored waiting for snowboarding season too start again, so I rented a mountainboard from Salty Peaks and never looked back (except right now, while I'm writing this). I found that it not only keeps me occupied in the summer and improves my snowboarding, but that I truly love the challenges and variety that mountainboarding offers. I now ride my mountainboard far more than I ride my snowboard and generally try things on the dirt before the snow. Live to ride! I also find myself obsessed by the technology that goes into the boards we ride and dedicated to improving upon it wherever possible. But my favorite thing by far is sharing the love with other people on the hill.

"Snowboarding and mountainboarding are the best. There's just something about being out there and enjoying it with your friends. It's amazing."
